°°°Washing of feet is essential part of Wudu if some dry area is left his wudu invalid°°°
The report narrated by ‘Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) saw a man doing wudoo’, and he omitted a spot the size of a fingernail on his foot. He told him to repeat his wudoo’ and his prayer, and he went back and prayed again.
Muslim 243; Ibn Maajah 666.
2.) But ALLAAH by His Mercy granted concession of wiping instead of washing because of necessity of wearing khufoof or socks
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Allaah loves concessions to be taken as He hates sin to be committed.”
